Rashmika Mandanna, a well-known actress, has been announced as a performer for the star-studded opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Friday. Mandanna will perform alongside fellow actress Tamannah Bhatia and famous singer Arijit Singh at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad ahead of the tournament opening between reigning champions Gujarat Titans and four-time winners Chennai Super Kings. Mandhana is a well-known personality in the Telugu cinema industry, and her hit flick Pushpa made headlines.
The competition will return to a home-and-away format after two years disrupted by the COVID-19 epidemic, and the opening ceremony is expected to feature a number of celebrities.
